Cibo e Vino
Welcome to Cibo e Vino, a charming wine bar offering a delightful blend of Italian and Mediterranean cuisine in the heart of New York City. Located at 2418 Broadway, this establishment prides itself on providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere for guests to enjoy a memorable dining experience.
As a food reviewer of Restaurant World, I had the pleasure of exploring the menu at Cibo e Vino and was impressed by the variety of offerings available. From appetizers like Mussels white wine, Cauliflower crispy cauliflower, and Burrata prosciutto to house-made pasta dishes like Tagliatelle Bolognese and Campanelle alla Vodka, there is something to satisfy every palate.
One standout dish that caught my attention was the Short Rib Ragù Rigatoni, featuring traditional slow-braised short ribs ragù and parmigiano. The tender meat paired perfectly with the al dente pasta, creating a rich and satisfying flavor profile.
For seafood lovers, the Spaghetti Frutti Di Mare and Seafood Agnolotti are must-tries, showcasing the freshest ingredients and bold, Mediterranean-inspired flavors.
The entrée selection at Cibo e Vino offers a range of options, from the Branzino with celery root to the Milanese Chicken with arugula and cherry tomatoes. Each dish is expertly prepared and beautifully presented, making it a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds.
To complete your meal, be sure to indulge in the decadent desserts, such as the panna cotta and tiramisu, which promise a sweet and satisfying conclusion to your dining experience.

Came here for restaurant week and it was so so good!! They had a lot of vegetarian options which I loved! They gave us complimentary olives and bread. The bread was fine but the olives were great! Appetizers-- the cauliflower was AMAZING. It was deep fried so pretty heavy but the flavors were great and the cheese paired really well. I also enjoyed the salad. It didn't have too much dressing on it which I really liked but I know most people prefer more dressing. It paired well with the pasta as the pasta was much heavier. Main -- mushroom truffle pasta was great. Very buttery. I liked that the sauce wasn't too cheesy but had more mushrooms flavor. Dessert: the panna Cotta was nice, I really liked the strawberry drizzle with it. The tiramisu was really good as well. This place was a great restaurant week deal and the ambiance and service were phenomenal. The outdoors area was very cute.

I love this place, the food is excellent and the service is spot on and very friendly. If you eat early this is a good choice, you will get a table and the atmosphere is lovely.

Came here for restaurant week and it did not disappoint! Everything was good and delicious! Location: It is located along UWS. There is seating outside and inside. The seat that we were located is kinda tight because it's beside the door. Interior is cozy and you can really talk unlike other restaurants that are noisy. Service: hands down they were all nice! They take time to get your order and don't rush you. Very attentive staff! Food: since it's restaurant week, it is a set menu but we order food and cocktails. TUNA TARTARE: this is one of my favorite, specially if you put the tartare into the toasted bread. GRILLED PEACH BURRATA: very interesting take on a buratta, the peaches are crunchy I even thought it was apples. The burrata is fresh and silky. MEDITERRANEAN FARRO SALAD: this was my least favorite, it is so grainy and hard as if you are eating uncooked rice. SHORT RIB RAGU: omg so good, it is like pulled pork pasta. The pasta was aldente and the port was so soft and flavorful. TIRAMISU: my fave, because it's not that sweet! Slight bitter with the chocolate which is perfect. PANNA COTTA: so soft and creamy! COCKTAILS: they are all good, kudos to the bar tender! Price rating: 7/10. To be honest the price is not bad for the huge portions! I will visit it again because everything was delicious except the farro salad! Tiramisu was the best!

Had a lovely meal during restaurant week. Everything was delicious. Staff very friendly and attentive. The space is beautiful. Small and intimate. Would recommend making a reservation. It was quite noisy though when the restaurant filled up. Would definitely come again.
